On 12 and 13 October next Panama will host the first International Finance organized by the Banking Association of Panama (ABP) Business Summit.
ABP brings together more than 70 banks from more than 30 countries in America, Europe and Asia operating in the Panama International Financial Centre.
The initiative responds to the importance of promoting the strengths, advantages and strength of the Panamanian financial system, funding opportunities offered to domestic and international investors in various areas including banking and insurance, construction and real estate development, transportation, energy, trade and industry, logistics and distribution, among others.
As is known, the Republic of Panama has been since the last century a market of intense economic activity driven by its geographical position and status of financial, logistical center and international trade, based on the use of the dollar of the United States as currency legal tender and an open and transparent economic and financial system.
The Panama Canal expansion project commissioning a new international shipping, predicts significant growth in trade and investment opportunities in the logistics sector which in turn require financing and other banking services.
These conditions combine to make this Summit aimed at senior management of financial institutions, international investors, consulting firms, transnational entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in a forode effective discussion of global and regional issues affecting investment, trade and international Business.
