Peru and Panama strengthen bilateral trade relations

Lime. Panama Invest main objective was to consolidate trade relations between Panama and Peru, with attractive opportunities for bilateral business, said the Panamanian Minister of Commerce and Industries, Augusto Arosemena.

A Panamanian delegation participated last week in Panama Invest Peru 2016, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Panama, through the Agency for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion (PROINVEX Panama), the Embassy of Panama in Peru and National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (Confiep).

Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Eduardo Ferreyros, was also present at this meeting of business opportunities between the two countries, as well as the Ambassador of Panama in Peru, Nicole Wolcovinsky.

It was also attended by officials of mining, logistics sector, among others, as well as authorities of the Panama Canal and the Ministry of the Presidency of Panama, and the testimony of FIEs that have successfully invested in Panama, as for Yobel.
